At the start of today’s class, the SSC came in today to help talk about interviews, starting in new work places and to cover the likes of confidence and imposter syndrome, when it comes to our upcoming and current interviews for placement.
Overall, it was a pretty summative and understanding talk, which explains why and what way we could feel in terms of how we think about certain situations. Although I still may think certain ways or experience these things, it also shows that I’ve come along way in terms of growing my own confidence and entering in new environments to meet new people.
Getting started into this weeks class, it began with explaining what this semesters final project is revealed to be a pitch presentation of a chosen project of my choice. The lecturer explained that they want it into a ‘Dragon’s Den’ style presentation. My requirements are to make some that can be innovative for a digital product, either my own creation or a variation of an existing product.
for the first task of the class, the lecturer decided to have the class, write out suggestions that could help improve concentration in the classroom, but in the worst way possible. For me I wrote three:
The purpose of this task was to help explain and show ways to take pressure off people when creating ideation, and to help understand that all ideas fall under what may be required and can be dispersed on what the most suitable idea is for the question.
The lecturer then thought it would be best to cover other ways that may be helpful when coming with ideas such as;
I’m already aware of these types of ways to come up with ideation, but I feel like having these covered again, especially with a pretty daunting project like this are pretty helpful to have recovered.
