This, week starting the class, AICC (Artificial Intelligence Collaboration Centre) came in to talk to myself as well as the class, about their placement opportunity. I found this talk very interesting, as not only would the student be in collaboration with AI, but brand design and work is a big aspect as part of this placement, which I have a great interest in myself.
Originally, I had already applied, for this placement, as I think it would be an amazing opportunity for experience, as well as it being incredibly local and easy access for to get to, unlike every other placement opportunity.
Accessible Design: Focuses on ensuring people with disabilities can perceive understand and operate the product. Often tied with specific standards snd laws such as WCAG. (Seen as the minimum bar)
Inclusive Design: A methodology and mindset that considers the full range of human diversity. (The way you work)
EAA: European Accessibility Act, mandates strict accessibility standards for key digital products and services. (Applies to products, such as computers, smart phones, ATM’s, transport, etc.)
