This week class wasn't available due to it colliding with St Patrick's day, meaning. Myself and others were tasked with working through our projects at home. Luckily for us our tutor provided us with content it learn from in the form of a Youtube video, containing a Figma tutorial.
There was a good bit of different features to learn that I wouldn't have even thought off, starting specifically with button interactions using components and variations. I have experience with these features from my Wednesday classes, but I didn't consider creating interaction animations for buttons.

To achieve these different complementing shades I used a tint & shade generator that was provided within the YouTube video that I found extremely helpful. I used this website to gather different shades for my 3 brand colours just in case I used or when I do use them in the future.

These are a couple of the buttons I designed for my app. Each colour correlates with each interaction the button will be prototyped for. For example, ‘on hover’ and ‘when clickling’ will change colours when using the mouse. Sadly these features won't work when using the prototype over the phone considering the user will be mostly swiping and pressing.

Following this, I also began developing and redesigning my banking app. I had the option to reskin an existing bank app or creating one from scratch. For this, I decided to use the Mozno banking app, due to its easy navigation and hundreds of different features within the app.
I plan on eventually changing certain designs and features to make the app a little more original to me and my design.
To achieve this I used simple screenshots from the Monzo app and used ‘Mobbin’ for gathering other detailed screenshots of not just Monzo but other bank apps.
