This week’s class was more of a feedback session than it was learning new things. I was really looking forward to getting some critical feedback about my designs and brand form my tutor as well as my classmates, but with such terrible inconvenience I ended up being sick the week critiques were due.
Luckily I did get some feedback on my brand during week 6 which was helpful and I do plan on personally asking for feedback from classmates myself or other people I know on what they think of my brand, just to incorporate any changes if needs be.
Aside from this when presenting our current work progress for feedback, my self and the class were tasked to create a ‘Style tile’ of our brand and mockups. I did have mine prepared for this class and I really enjoyed building it. The reason for this task was to help give myself a more ‘professional’ standard presentation of what I want my brand to look like, the assets it comes with as well as designs it made for it.

When I was tasked to create this, it was fairly simple to understand as it mostly just had to feature the core assets of my brand all in one place, basically a sugarcoated guidelines. When creating my tile I wanted to emphasise that the maroon was going to be my primary brand colour, hence why it is on basically everything.
I did take a look at existing examples that could be helpful in away for me to create my own one but none of them really caught my eye or felt very helpful. Luckily for me I was able to take a peek at some previous examples on how other students in the past had presented there's, and one thing I did notice was the repetitive use of their primary colours, which of course inspired me to do the same thing.
