This week in class, we moved on from the development of our CV’s and discussed creating and designing our portfolios. There were loads of different aspects covered, such as the applications we could use to create our portfolios, who to look into for inspiration on our portfolios, as well as what content should be featured.
luckily for me, I already had a couple ideas in mind on what I want to have featured in my portfolio website, as well as any future projects I work on. I would say the most interesting part I found during this is, how other designers created their website portfolios, a lot of them are plain and minimalist, which is what was suggested to us.
I do plan on going this route but I still aim to make the portfolio more my style that can be reflect my personality as well as my work at the same time.
Another form of information I found handy during today's lecture is how my content is best structured for the website. I did have some sort of idea of how it should or could be structured, with more visuals than information than anything.
