When beginning this weeks class, first thing was first, getting feedback on the app visuals. I was the third person to talk about my app. In general a lot of people really liked the idea and concept of what the purpose of the app exactly is.
Sadly however, there seemed to be a lot more negative comments about the designs of the app and content. However, I still found this pretty beneficial, in terms of work on improvements of the app, giving me more ideas to work with and implement.

One of the biggest issues that was talked about by my lecturer was the layout and structure of my buttons, within the app. He said that as for the layout I should move the titles around to the other side, instead of having them on the right, get rid of the sign out and settings button as they aren't needed and readjust the icons. This would make the buttons look less congested and easier for the user to read.

I feel like making this change was a really great suggestion, it makes the app look a lot sleeker, more professional and much less overwhelming. Whilst I was at redesign, I also decided to rework the icons, balance them out a bit more and make them more relatable for the titles.
For the rest of the day, bringing project 1 to an end, we were provided context and information on our next project. Sustainable Development goals. Project 2 is to design and create an app aimed at either adults or children. I had to choose 1 of 17 Sustainable Development Goal, by the UN. When looking into at there were so many options a choices to choose from, making it a fairly difficult decision on what to go for.
Knowing this, the first stage of development was research, I needed to take a look at what SDG I was going to choose to based my app around, in terms of promoting. To help me with this, I headed straight over, to the SDG website, giving me the option to chose from the overall goals or even promoting on of their many targets.
THE 17 GOALS | Sustainable Development
I found this weeks class really interesting, It covered a pretty broad range, from the likes of feedback and research. Getting the feedback based on my 1st project was extremely useful, and will help me get back into the swing of this after coming back from summer.
As for the next project, I can tell it is going to be a challenge, in terms of coming with a product Idea, who my target audience is going to be, and finding a way to make it engaging, educational and raise awareness in correlation with a selected SDG.
