This week in class, was very straight forward compared to the usual. The class as well as my self spent most of the day finishing up the creation of our CV’s. Starting the day we had couple of guests under Ulster University that would take each member one at a time to help refine and improve our CV’s for future placement applications.
I was one of the first to be called up and in which case, I explained that my score on CV360 when grading my CV for the first time, that my score was first 77%, then 79%. I also explained that most of my issues were inconsistencies with the application picking up spelling mistakes for the likes of names of a company.

Following this, we then discussed what my CV could be improved upon, whilst comparing it to other existing CV’s just to help me getting explanations around in a more appropriate manner.
Overall, the my CV was fairly well made for a first time round, the layout was really well put together and the explanations were kept short but still detailed enough. The biggest thing I had to work on to improve was my work experience section, which explained too little as well as repeated itself in some areas.
My task, was to simply improve in these areas that needed amended to help boost my score as a whole and make my CV more relatable to a future potential placement role.

After testing it another time in CV360, I ended up jumping to 91%. I feel like this score could be increased more if it counted towards my layout a bit better. What I mean by this is, the website will only read files made using Microsoft word, which I don't have. So as a replacement for this, I used Google Docs, which hinders my placements of words incredibly making it difficult to have my content laid out the way I wanted it, especially trying to keep it on one page as well.
