What I learned this week (11/12/2025)

Diving into the critique for my audit. Using Miro, and featuring my two pages of both home and students. Overall, my lecturer really liked my redesign suggestions, meaning I was really successful in terms of trying to communicate my solutions to the hubs issues.

My lecturer really liked how I was able to adapt and include new features, that are either difficult to find or just don’t exist. Particularly within the students page of the hub, specifically, my adaption of the black board preview tile and especially the SEATS, attendance tile.

Including these features, would be beneficial in keeping the hub engaging, informative and relate towards the user than it’s original.

The area of improvement would be to play around with the hierarchy of my tile layout. What this means is I could play around with lesser used buttons, or the lower the content is down the page, the smaller the buttons get but the more are paired with each other.

Doing this would help the user become lost or less distracted due to the amount of content within the student hub pages.

Overall, I believe this project was successful, especially when providing solutions to spotted issues. Even without showing or reading the filled out audit, the lecturer was still able to understand the issues, what my solutions can do, the impact they could have on the user, and are presented within the mockups pretty well.
