This week in class, myself as well as the class presented and showed off our digital mock-up projects.
This time our feedback was provided, by the lecturer, the class and two guests from Little Thunder, Tim and Gabe. When it came to presenting my concept, there was quite a lot of verbal, constructive feedback, some positive but a lot of helpful information to further improve my project.
The guests and lecture overall really liked the the concept and it’s idea to communicate. One of the biggest parts that was suggested was somehow visualising what the room may look like in a 3D or virtual aspect.
Another form of information I will take on board was the presentation of sprites. Instead of keeping them as blocks with icons, instead, having them represent what the furniture would actually look like from top-down.
Following this, my class-mates also provided feedback on my concept, despite there only being 3 notes out of the 13+ people present, I still found the notes I did have as really helpful and I plan on implementing them into a future design.
Despite being a small amount of feedback, there was still a good amount of work for me to revamp my concept
