Before I begin I wasn't present for this first class of this year as I was a course transfer meaning I missed out on class time. However, that does not mean I didn't learn a good amount of content in my spare time when looking over any of the notes or presentation.
To begin, in my first class of the year I learned many different things, mostly to do with getting started with this course and learning what this course is about and where it can bring me. I first started with the applications I will mostly be using to produce my work on, in this case Figma. Figma is a digital web application that is primarily used for digital prototyping for the likes of apps and webpages but could also be used for printing such as A4 pages.

The next thing learned in this class was getting set up for my blog using the application ‘Notion’. The reason why I was setting this up was to have sort of portfolio for me to add projects, development, research, and Notes from any lectures or content I may come across. I would set my blog up to record my first two classes of the year and from there on use them as templates for my future classes and work.
Finally, the last couple of things I learned about in today's past lecture was for upcoming project 1, Point, Line, and Plane. The purpose of this was to bring myself back to the basics of design with just raw dots, lines and squares (technically). I would eventually use these basics more so to put my creativity to mind rather than skill of art and design, of which would be put to the test for project 1.
