When it came time to begin developing our slides, and prepare for the final group presentation, to show what work we have accomplished over the last 12 weeks as a group. We were provided this, simple formula of how our slides should be structured when presenting our service design.
Instead of members picking their ‘Beat’, I opted for a more ‘fun’ approach to finding out who does what. With the help of ‘Gambling’. Using an application called wheel of names, going from Beat 1-5, and depending on what name it lands on they would be assigned that beat.

Below is a result of the spin the wheel. And with that, I was tasked with working on Beat 5. Beat 5: Why it matters beyond the room, seems like a quick and simple task to cover, within a presentation. However, My biggest struggle will be the call to action by the end of it.

To help further understand what is being asked of us, a member within the team had asked ChatGPT to give a quick overview of what may be a good step for each slide of the presentation may be.

Our group opted to use a shared page within Figma, that way we can all access it, view each others progress/ work and follow the same design template that was created inline with the concepts design.
When it came to choosing, what to include within my designs as well as how I plan on communicate, information across, I decided to lean towards more visuals than information on the slides. The reason for this, is due to the nature of my clients, I feel like they would be more interested with images, & icons, over boring text.
In an attempt to fit within my time frame of 1.5 minutes. I decided to only go with 3 slides for Beat 5. Due to my requirements being so little, compared to the rest, I had to provide extra information. My thought was to reiterate to the clients the benefits of our service, the effects it can have if it existed, then finally, ending it on a positive call to action.
Below are the slides I designed for my section of the presentation. In terms of information, I wrote myself a script out within the notes of the slides, to use for time keeping. My goal was to try to finish on time, if not then just under, as my last couple of presentations have been over time.
