Today- Wednesday 25th February 2026, Myself as well as most of my team members attended a meeting with 3 workers within the Start360 charity agency. The purpose of this interview, was to gather vital primary information about the life, perspective and insights of what a recently released offender experiences upon release.
I wasn’t able to stay during the entire interview process, due to an appointment I had at around 11:30. However, I was still able to learn and record pretty important and incredibly interesting stories about the experience.
I recorded as much info as possible using the notes app on my mobile phone, as I didn’t have my laptop with me.

Out of custody- no housing= give you an script in Belfast but your registered with Derry or another part of NI
Leaving unexpected, people with phones have better chances of getting housing that night on release.
